Studland Tea Room and Buildings
This photo which dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s shows the old beachside tea room at Studland which was located below the area which is now Middle Beach car park.
The left of the photo shows a building which we believe was a lifeboat house and two people can be seen sitting alongside a boat on the shoreline.
In the foreground an adult and child are sitting on the grass and a group of people are in the centre of the photo with the tea room building behind.
This entire area is now underwater due to coastal erosion and rising sea levels.
