Exploring the Seashore: A Coastal Foraging Adventure
Description
Come join Dan Scott, the founder of Fore / Adventure in Studland, for an exciting seashore scavenger hunt! We will be foraging for coastal plants, hunting down the best Dorset seaweed, pulling in pots, and searching for razor clams. Dan has even been featured on TV shows like Sky, ITV, BBC, and Channel 4, where he shares his expert knowledge of wild plants with famous chefs like Gordon Ramsay and John Torode.
Join us in Studland on the Jurassic coast to learn all about which wild species are edible, how to harvest them, their medicinal properties, and how to prepare them for eating. To top it all off, we will end our adventure with a delicious soup on the beach, flavoured with one of the wild ingredients we found. The cost for this half-day experience is £55 per person (minimum age 12) and all equipment is included. Fore / Adventure offers foraging and feasting courses, as well as other wild food adventures throughout the year, so be sure to check out their website for more dates.
